There are different summer and winter activities to enjoy near the cottages:
- Fishing on lake Vikajärvi , rapid fishing at Vikaköngäs (ca. 4 km from Vikajärvi cottages) and at Namman maja
- Hiking at Vikaköngäs and Vaattunkiköngäs, Arctic Circle Hiking Area (www.luontoon.fi)
- Cross-country skiing by the cottages. Ski tracks are made on request near the cottages. Lighted ski trails are maintained at the Vikajärvi village
- Snowmobile trails start at the Vikajärvi village from the south part of lake Vikajärvi (www.kartta.rovaniemi.fi)
- Snowshoeing by the cottages or at Vikaköngäs hiking area
- Kicksledging near the cottages
- We also offer equipment rental for fishing, ice fishing and snowshoeing. Kick sleds and kids’ sleds are for free use
